Try this fun form of Dance Exercise created and taught by ChCh born instructor in 2004

These enjoyable dance steps will help you increase fitness, tighten tummy, thighs, calves & buttocks, and give you a great workout. It's safe on your joints and great for the body as there is no harsh jumping.

Not Partner dancing

This is an exercise class that is developed around various dance steps such as Salsa and Cha, it gradually gets faster as you get use to the various moves.

It’s extremely enjoyable for those who like dancing but haven’t got a partner. It is also highly beneficial for men who would like to get use to Latin steps before they try it with a partner.

If you would like a stimulating, smooth, workout which looks and feels great with these interesting dance steps, then this is the class for you. 

It's The Ultimate Fitness Experience, and great for any age

Classes are for 1hour, including the lunchtime classes but it's ok to come in late and leave early

The Salsafitness Beginners class teaches the moves, turns and steps in a friendly fun environment. Each week you will learn new moves aswell as revise previous weeks moves.  The class gradually gets faster the more confident and fitter you become.  It's recommended to start the class at the beginning of the 10 weeks for a more enjoyable experience (the first 5 weeks are the most important)

 

The Salsafitness Improvers class are for those who are use to moves and the teachers calls, this class moves alot faster as there is very little teaching time - and is aimed for those who want a better workout.  Click here to see a video of Salsafitness

Julianna's very first SalsaFitness Exercise Classes started in 2004 at Mt Pleasant Community Hall.  These classes were created and developed by her using her knowledge of Salsa, Dance, Fitness, Taichi, and Psychology
 
The Party Sessions are Fabulous Fun as well

I joined a Zumba class here in Rangiora. I chose not to do a next term because, there is a bit of jumping and abrupt movement going on and I have to face I'm no longer 25. On top of that I enjoyed your classes more because of your teaching, clear instructions and routines which made it easier to put energy in the movements rather than trying to follow what the trainer is going to do next (as was the case quite often at Zumba).

The salsa has given me a new shape, which I am really enjoying. Even over the ten weeks, just doing your classes once a week I have noticed new muscle tone and fat that has just disappeared. I've lost 5 kgs, which doesn't sound like much, but we all know that muscle weighs more than fat anyway, so imagine how much I've really lost!
